A 53″ double cookie — two pith centers in one piece, 3.5″ thick — a full cross-section with the pith and every ring on display. This is maple that lived a little: ambrosia tunnels and mineral streak turn a plain board into a one-off. Air-drying for now — reserve it and let it season, or take it green and dry it yourself.
