Classic red oak. That coarse open grain takes stain like a sponge and shrugs off daily use. 170″ of length, 44″ wide, 2.5″ thick — roughly 105 board feet. And it’s long — room to seat a crowd. Air-drying since Dec 2025; figure about a year per inch, or we can kiln-finish it on request. Come see it in person — slabs always look better in the flesh.
