Red oak: no drama, all function. Heavy, ring-porous, and good-looking without trying. 136″ of length, 22–30″ wide, 3″ thick — roughly 77 board feet. Thick 12/4 stock with the heft to match. Air-drying since Apr 2025; figure about a year per inch, or we can kiln-finish it on request. Milled on-site in NJ. One of one.
