Every slab here is one of a kind. When you reserve one, it comes off the table for everybody else — so here’s exactly how the money works.
The deposit
Reserving a slab takes a 25% deposit. That deposit holds your slab with your name on it. The remaining balance is due when you pick it up.
Deposits are non-refundable
Once you put money down, that piece stops being for sale and other buyers walk. That’s the trade. If you change your mind, the deposit doesn’t come back. We’d rather tell you that straight up front than surprise you later.
What the deposit gets you
A “RESERVED” stamp on the listing, the slab pulled and set aside, and time to come get it within our hold window.
Balance & pickup
The rest is due at pickup, in person, at the barn. Cards and digital wallets work. See the Pickup page for how a pickup actually goes.
If you can’t make it
Life happens — reach out. We’ll work with you on timing inside the hold window. But if a reserved slab goes 30 days with no contact and no pickup, the reservation is forfeit, the deposit’s gone, and the slab goes back up for sale.
Wood is wood
These are natural, mostly air-drying slabs. They move, check, and crack as they finish — that’s the material, not a defect. We’ll tell you honestly where a slab is in its drying before you commit. A non-refundable deposit doesn’t change the fact that you’re buying real wood that behaves like real wood.
