Pop’s Barn Reviews — What Customers Say

I was fortunate enough to stumble across Pop's Barn about a year ago, and I have never looked back. First and foremost - they are extremely knowledgeable and you are able to ask questions. Their inventory is second to none and they mill and kiln everything in house, so you know that you are getting quality. The products that I have purchased from them have been absolutely beautiful, including a large 12x4 foot oak slab that became my family dining room table. I have also purchased maple, black walnut, and other species - all of them were great. What also needs mentioning is the quality of people that Pops and Will are - working with them is like seeing old friends - they are welcoming, helpful, and always get back to me quickly with any request I may have. I look forward to a long partnership with them! You should too!

We found Pops Barn through Facebook when we were looking for a countertop, and choosing to go meet Bob, the owner, was one of the best decisions we made! Bob has an amazing selection of beautiful wood, with so many unique pieces to choose from. My wife and I went there personally, picked out the plank we loved, and Bob recommended that we go with a live edge—and we're so glad we took his advice. When we went back to pick up the finished piece, we honestly couldn't believe how beautiful it turned out. The natural character of the wood and the live edge are absolutely stunning. It came out even better than we imagined. Bob was knowledgeable, helpful, and great to work with throughout the whole process. If you're looking for a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece of wood, we highly recommend Pops Barn. We're extremely happy with our countertop and would definitely go back again!

Can't say enough good things about Pops Barn. Finding kiln-dried lumber and beautiful, large slabs can be tough, but their selection and quality are top-tier. Great people and unmatched material.

Pop's Barn is the real deal. The selection of wood is impressive, and I'm excited to put the pieces I picked up to use. Bob was great to talk to and made the whole experience enjoyable. I stopped by for the Labor Day giveaway, where I was able to take home some great wood and donate to mikeroweWORKS at the same time. I'll definitely be back.

Incredible wood selection and fantastic service! All of the my walnut for the build out in the pic was sourced from Pops Barn and the quality was impeccable!

Found Pops Barn on Instagram, I was looking to work with some nicer wood and saw he was doing a fundraiser giveaway. I showed up and asked some questions only a newbie would ask and got no judgement, was really thankful for that. Picked up and nice sized walnut slab. Would definitely recommend!

Bob had exactly the kind of material I was looking for. I wanted less traditionally desirable oak to make rustic trim and doors for my log cabin house. I want oak with lots of character and I found exactly what I was looking for at pops barn. He has a wide selection of locally found species.

Came across Pops Barn on Marketplace and decided to stop by for some Hickory. Quite the place! Great selection of dimensional and live edge wood for all kinds of projects at very fair prices!

Pops is where I go to source material. I know everything will be high quality and priced fairly.

I have worked with many sawmills over the years, And non as pleasant as Pops Barn. I spoke with a gentleman named Bob, He had my cut list ready for pick up within 48 Hours of placing the order. Beautiful saw cut planks for my trailer.

What a beautiful property and mill! The number of logs to be cut is overwhelming and the slabs they are producing are spectacular! Love my Ambrosia Maple slab!

Just spent a great afternoon today with Will from Pop's Barn in beautiful Andover, NJ. Will did an amazing job preparing our wonky oak wood cookies for our project making end tables. He also gave us suggestions and offered to talk us through any issues we might encounter. Thanks again, Will!

Will and Pops were very friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable which allowed us to pick out the most suitable piece for us.

Pictures don't do it justice! We purchased this personalized oversized cutting board to keep on our counter and it is beautiful. The craftsmanship is so apparent and it's a great alternative to plastic cutting boards or any fake wood with PFAs. It sits off of the counter so it dries quickly. The fact that it is a family owned small business just makes it so much better! Thank you Bob and his son Will for the beautiful piece! Will definitely be adding more to our home.

Bob and Will were very knowledgeable and were very accommodating to my requests for my coffee table. The coffee table came out great, the craftsmanship is impressive, and my experience was amazing. I will be going to them again in the future.
