A 59″ × 55″ Ambrosia Maple double cookie — two full pith centers in one solid piece, 3.5″ thick. That dark line running through it isn’t a crack and it isn’t beetle streak — it’s an old bark inclusion. Two young trees grew together, got torn apart, and the wood healed right over the trapped bark — a ‘bark sandwich’ you can’t fake or repeat. This is a figure-eight cross-cut, the kind of shape a log only gives up once. Set it on a base and it’s a statement table top nobody else has. Milled on-site in NJ. One of one.
