Drying is where most slabs are won or lost. Rush it and you get cracks, checks, and a piece that twists on you six months after it's built. We don't rush it. Slabs get stickered and stacked to settle, then loaded into our iDry AIR kiln — a dedicated 20′ container — and brought down slow and steady to proper furniture moisture (6–8%). What comes out is flat, stable, and ready to build.
Sticker and stack to settle → load the iDry AIR kiln → bring it down slow to 6–8% → flat, stable wood that won't move on you after it's built. No cracks six months later, no surprises.
Most of our inventory comes out of the kiln before it's ever listed. Buy a slab from us and it's already dried to furniture moisture and ready to work.
Got green slabs of your own — from your land, your mill, or a tree you couldn't let go? Bring them here and run them through our cycle. We'll dry 'em right and call you when they're stable.
Drying is priced by board foot and load — we keep our rate competitive with anything around. Reach out with your stack size and species and we'll quote it straight.
